Youth Sidewalk Chalk Competition sponsored by XFINITYThe sidewalk chalk competition will host up to 200 competitors of various age ranges, from 5-18 years old. Each age range will hold approximately 50 spots. Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Each age group will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. The contests will be judged by a combination of Celebrity TV artists (from Paramount’s Ink Master), licensed Warner Bros artists, and local award-winning artists. Prize packs featuring age-appropriate high-end art supplies and gifts will be awarded to each place. The competition will allow custom drawings from each participating artist - but will require the custom drawings to follow a theme. This year's theme will be announced soon. The event check-in for pre-registered junior artists will begin at 1 pm. Drawing time begins at 2 pm and runs until 5 pm. The event will run from 12 pm to 8:30 pm. Awards announcements will be made before the headliner takes the stage, between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm. A full timeline will be emailed to every registered participant closer to the event date. |
