Stay After the Show for a Community ConversationFollowing select performances (5/22 and 5/31) of The Last Encore, audience members are invited to stay for a Community Conversation Panel designed to continue the dialogue sparked by the production.
The Last Encore explores themes surrounding mental health, childhood trauma, identity, and the emotional challenges many young people face but often struggle to talk about openly. While the story is fictionalized for the stage, the experiences reflected in the production resonate with real challenges faced by individuals and families within our community. To help extend the impact of the story beyond the stage, Twistid Arts Initiative is partnering with local organizations that provide mental health support, youth services, and family resources throughout Citrus County. |
During the panel discussion, representatives from these organizations will share insight into topics such as:
The panel will be moderated and will include an opportunity for audience members to ask questions and learn more about the organizations working to support individuals and families in our region.
Following the discussion, participating organizations will have informational materials available in the lobby, and representatives will be available to speak with audience members who would like to learn more about available resources.
Through this initiative, Twistid Arts hopes to create an environment where storytelling fosters awareness, connection, and support, ensuring that the conversations started on stage continue in meaningful ways within our community.
