Art Academy Program

Unleash your creativity and fine tune your skills through our bi-monthly art classes. Covering everything from painting techniques to anatomy, these classes will meet each student at their level and ensure a focused, enriched study.

Bi-monthly classes are 2 hours each for 15-Adults, 1.5 hours for 9-14 years old, and 1 hour for our homeschool class. Classes run from January to April. Space is limited. A one-time registration fee of $50 is due at sign-up. Classes are $100/month for 15-adult, $80/month for ages 9-14 years old, and $60/month for the homeschool class. Tuition must be paid by the 1st of the month to maintain the slot.

Please fill out the form to register below. Invoices and additional details will be sent out shortly after via email. Your slot is not reserved until the registration fee is paid.

Classes start the week of January 5th
Class schedule:

9-14 Classes: Every other Mon from 5-6:30 pm
15-Adult Classes Every other Mon from 6:45-8:45 pm.
​Homeschool Classes: Every other Wed from 10-11 am.
We are currently accepting registrations for our January-April session.

​General Rules for All Classes:
  1. Respect and Kindness:
    • Treat instructors, classmates, and materials with respect.
    • Encourage and support one another’s creativity; no negative or discouraging comments.
  2. Punctuality:
    • Arrive on time to ensure the class can start as scheduled.
    • Notify the instructor in advance if you will be late or absent.
  3. Classroom Etiquette:
    • Follow all instructions given by the instructor.
    • Raise your hand to ask questions or request assistance.
    • Keep your workspace tidy and clean up after yourself.
  4. Use of Materials:
    • Use art supplies responsibly; handle tools and materials with care.
    • Return all shared materials to their proper place after use.
  5. Personal Belongings:
    • Bring only necessary items to class; keep personal belongings out of the way.
    • Do not touch or use another student’s artwork or supplies without permission.
  6. Participation:
    • Actively engage in all class activities and exercises.
    • Be open to learning new techniques and receiving constructive feedback.
  7. Safety First:
    • Follow all safety guidelines when using art tools or materials.
    • Immediately report any accidents or issues to the instructor.
  8. Electronic Devices:
    • Phones and electronic devices should be silenced and kept away unless needed for the class.

Additional Rules for Ages 9-14:
  1. Listening Ears:
    • Pay attention to the instructor at all times and avoid talking while instructions are being given.
  2. Ask for Help:
    • If you’re unsure about something, always ask the instructor or a helper for guidance.
  3. Stay Focused:
    • Avoid unnecessary distractions, such as playing with supplies or chatting excessively.
  4. Break Time Rules:
    • During breaks, stay within designated areas and follow any specific instructions from the instructor.
  5. Respect Artwork:
    • Never touch or alter another student’s artwork, even as a joke.

Additional Rules for Ages 15-Adult:
  1. Professionalism:
    • Approach the class with a positive and professional attitude, ready to learn and grow.
  2. Feedback Etiquette:
    • When providing feedback, ensure it is constructive, respectful, and kind.
  3. Independent Work:
    • Take initiative in your projects and practice self-discipline to stay on task.
  4. Collaborative Atmosphere:
    • Be open to sharing ideas and collaborating when class activities require group work.
  5. Mature Behavior:
    • Maintain a mature and respectful demeanor that contributes to a productive learning environment.

These rules are designed to ensure that every participant, regardless of age, has a positive, engaging, and enriching experience during their time in the Twistid Arts classes.
